Louder, More Aggressive Roar. Let your Ford Super Duty roar louder with this AFE ATLAS 5-Inch DPF-Back Single Side Exit Exhaust System With Black Tip. It features wide-diameter, mandrel-bent tubing for better exhaust airflow and rounder, louder-than-stock sound. This exhaust system is also designed to lower exhaust gas temperatures and increase horsepower and torque for overall better performance.
More Power and Torque. AFE engineered this exhaust system specifically to reduce turbulence and increase airflow by up to 29%. This is achieved through the mandrel-bent tubing for smooth and uniform-diameter transition curves and a mitered merge collector that gets rid of any dead space. This combination increases horsepower and torque, and also lowers exhaust gas temperatures.
Heavy-Duty Aluminized Steel Construction. This exhaust system is made from aluminized steel, guaranteeing its lightweight structure, superior corrosion resistance, and high heat reflectivity. It’s also 100% hand-MIG-welded to ensure strong attachments, as well as a smooth appearance. In addition, all the tubes are mandrel-bent for smooth airflow throughout the assembly. Meanwhile, the exhaust tip features intercooling vents to help lower exhaust gas temperatures at the tail pipe.
Polished Surface Finish. For a sleek shine and an ultra-smooth surface, AFE gave this exhaust system a polished finish. The polishing process also removes impurities that can cause premature wear. The slash-cut exhaust tip, on the other hand, has a matte black finish for an aggressive style. It’s capped off with a laser-cut stainless steel AFE logo for added swag.
Direct Bolt-On Installation. This exhaust system requires minor cutting behind the DPF unit , but is otherwise designed for a bolt-on installation using the factory mounting points. It will take about 2 hours to complete the installation of the entire assembly.
Application. This AFE ATLAS 5-Inch DPF-Back Single Side Exit Exhaust System With Black Tip is compatible with 2017-2022 editions of the 6.7L Ford F-250 Super Duty.
