This single exhaust system has large-diameter, mandrel-bent tubes for freer- and faster-flowing exhaust air. The result is a louder, more aggressive exhaust sound. The improved airflow also improves horsepower and torque and reduces EGTs.

These improvements are made possible by the 5-inch dia. mandrel-bent tubes, which reduce turbulence and help the exhaust air to flow faster and smoother. The OE-style flange creates a perfect seal, further reducing turbulence. The improved airflow also reduces exhaust gas temperatures.
High-Quality Aluminized Steel Construction. For maximum strength, excellent corrosion resistance, and high heat reflectivity all in a lightweight frame, AFE used aluminized steel for this exhaust system. In addition, the tubes are mandrel-bent where necessary to ensure a consistent diameter and smoother curves for unrestricted airflow. Moreover, the connection points are made through MIG-welding for extra strength. The stainless steel exhaust tip, meanwhile, features a drain port that keeps away rust and corrosion.
Polished Surface Finish. This exhaust system has a polished surface finish, giving it an attractive shine. The mid pipe needs some minor cutting if your Ford Super Duty is a Regular Cab or Quad Cab Short Bed model. Otherwise, you can proceed straight to installation which you can complete in about 2 hours.
