The kit features a 1-piece roto-molded housing and mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube to maximize airflow while maintaining the coolest air intake charge possible.
No Tune Required. The Momentum XP is designed to perform with the Sierra’s factory tune and doesn’t require any ECU reprogramming. A retune is still recommended to ensure maximum performance.
Comes With Pro 5R Oiled Air Filter. The Momentum XP utilizes the large Pro 5R air filter for maximum airflow and filtration. It consists of 5 layers of oiled cotton media that’s washable and reusable for long-lasting service.
Heat Soak-Resistant Housing. The Momentum XP features a roto-molded housing with heat soak-resistant and durable cross-linked polyethylene. The 1-piece construction helps isolate the air intake from hot air and makes installation easy.
Straightforward Installation. No drilling or cutting is required during the installation of the Momentum XP. The box contains all the required hardware for the installation.
Not CARB-Certified. The Momentum XP is not CARB-certified at this time. It may not be installed on vehicles for use in California or other states adopting California emission standards.
Application. The AFE Momentum XP Cold Air Intake with Pro 5R Oiled Filter and black finish is designed to fit 2014-2018 5.3L GMC Sierra 1500 models.
