Increases Horsepower and Torque Gains. The AFE Momentum XP Cold Air Intake with Pro 5R Oiled Filter is a good-looking performance upgrade for the Silverado. It provides additional horsepower and torque gains with its heat soak-resistant material, 1-piece housing design, and free-flowing mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube.
No Tune Required. The computer designed housing provides exceptional performance with the factory tune. Reprogramming the ECU is still recommended to ensure maximum performance.
Pro 5R Oiled Air Filter. The Momentum XP uses a large 5-layer oiled air filter with a unique filter-to-housing interface. This delivers maximum airflow and filtration performance that’s easy to install and maintain. Additionally, the air filter is washable and reusable for long-lasting service.
Custom Designed Housing. The Momentum XP features a custom computer-designed housing that’s roto-molded from durable cross-linked polyethylene. The material is also heat soak-resistant to maintain the coolest air charge possible.
Straightforward Installation. Installing the Momentum XP is simple and can be completed in about an hour. No drilling or cutting is required.
Not CARB-Certified. The Momentum XP is not CARB-certified at this time. It may not be installed on vehicles for use in California or other states adopting California emission standards.
