Improves Performance. The AFE Momentum XP Cold Air Intake with Pro 5R Oiled Filter and brushed aluminum intake tube has been dyno-tested and proven to significantly increase horsepower and torque. Furthermore, the kit is easy to install and looks great under the hood.
No Tune Required. The precise engineering of the Momentum XP allows it to deliver performance on the Silverado’s factory tune. No custom tunes or ECU reprogramming is required. However, an ECU retune is still recommended to ensure maximum performance with your Silverado’s setup.
Pro 5R High-Performance Oiled Air Filter. The Momentum XP is built around the large Pro 5R air filter. The air filter has 5 layers of oiled cotton gauze with progressively finer porosity to ensure maximum filtration and airflow. Additionally, the Pro 5R is washable and reusable for long-lasting service.
Custom Designed 1-Piece Housing. The Momentum XP is able to deliver the coolest air charge possible due to the sealed roto-molded housing and heat soak resistant polyethylene. Furthermore, the mandrel-bent intake ensured that air flow is unrestricted and has superior flow over stock.
No-Drill Installation. No drilling or cutting is required during the installation of the Momentum XP. The 1-piece housing also has the added benefit of simplifying install due to the fewer number of components.
Not CARB-Certified. The Momentum XP is not CARB-certified at this time. It may not be installed on vehicles for use in California or other states adopting California emission standards.
Application. The AFE Momentum XP Cold Air Intake with Pro 5R Oiled Filter and brushed aluminum intake is designed to fit 2014-2018 6.2L Chevrolet Silverado 1500 models.
