High-Performance and High Volume. The American Racing Headers 1-3/4 in. Long Tube Headers w/ Catted Y-Pipe are designed to replace your Silverados stock manifold to give you more horsepower and torque, which in turn will improve your towing capacity and fuel efficiency. Another benefit? These long tube headers produce an amazing sound – louder than factory yet still civilized.
Optimized and Catted. This header is made entirely in the USA using tig welded 304 stainless steel that resists corrosion and 1-piece mandrel bent pipes. It features 3/8″ laser-cut flanges that provide a warp-free seal, optimized routing of the primary tube for superior fit, and 3″ merge collectors complete with welded scavenger spikes. Plus, it comes with a durable 200 cell metallic substrate catalytic converter, and every component is manufactured in the USA.
Additional Information. This long tube header is intended for off-road use only.
Installation. This header is designed for a bolt-on installation, which generally takes around 2 hours. Because some modifications may be required, the process requires a moderate level of mechanical expertise, otherwise professional installation is recommended.
