Power-Retractable Running Boards. The Amp Research PowerStep Running Boards automatically deploy when a door opens and retract shortly after it closes, providing easy entry and exit for trucks and SUVs while maintaining ground clearance and vehicle aesthetics.
Construction and Appearance. Made from corrosion-resistant die-cast aluminum with a durable military-grade black PTFE coating, these running boards feature a textured, slip-resistant step surface for safety. The sleek black finish provides a discreet, long-lasting protection against oxidation and abrasion.
Installation. Installation is moderately challenging and generally recommended for professional installation. The PowerSteps mount directly to the vehicle’s rocker panel on most applications without drilling and include a vehicle-specific installation guide and mount kit for accurate fitting.
Warranty. This product is protected by a 5-year limited warranty, covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and installation.
