The Amp Research PowerStep XL running boards provide a convenient, power-operated step that automatically deploys when the vehicle door opens and retracts shortly after the door closes. This enhances vehicle accessibility, especially for lifted trucks or those with high ground clearance, offering an effortless and safer way to enter and exit the cab.
Construction and Appearance. Made from corrosion-resistant die-cast aluminum, these running boards are anodized and finished with a military-grade PTFE coating for superior durability. The 6-inch wide cab-length boards feature a textured, slip-resistant surface and integrated LED lighting for enhanced visibility and safety in low-light conditions.
Installation. Installation is a bolt-on process using existing holes in the vehicle’s rocker panels, with all necessary hardware and instructions included. Professional installation is recommended. The process requires no drilling and includes connection to the vehicle’s OBDII port via a patented plug-and-play module.
Warranty. This product includes a 5-year limited warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship when installed according to instructions.
Application. Designed specifically for 2018 to 2024 6.7L RAM 3500 Mega Cab models; this product is not compatible with Chassis Cab models.
