Description
The APR Performance rear diffuser is an aerodynamic component engineered specifically for the Chevrolet Corvette C6 and C6 Z06 platforms from 2005-2013. This rear diffuser addresses the aerodynamic disruption that occurs when air molecules behind the vehicle create a low pressure vacuum zone, which can negatively impact overall aerodynamic efficiency and performance from other aerodynamic components.
The diffuser operates by channeling high-speed air flow coming from underneath the Corvette and redirecting it to transition smoothly into the low pressure vacuum area at the rear of the vehicle. This aerodynamic management system encourages smoother air flow patterns underneath the car, which enhances the performance effectiveness of other aerodynamic components such as wings or spoilers.
