Activated at the flick of a switch from within the vehicle, it locks the axle shafts together, maximizing grip when needed and unlocking for conventional differential operation during normal driving.
CONSTRUCTION AND APPEARANCE. This differential features a robust two-piece design crafted from forged nickel alloy steel and nodular iron components for exceptional strength and durability. It includes a steel reinforced, elastomer bonded annular seal capable of withstanding over 20,000 cycles in extreme temperatures. The finish is a durable silver coating that resists corrosion and wear.
INSTALLATION. Installation requires moderate mechanical skill and does not typically require drilling or permanent modifications to the vehicle. The kit comes complete with all necessary hardware and components including an activation switch, solenoid valve, air line, and bulkhead fitting for integration with an air compressor (sold separately).
