Safely Clears Your Differential. When you are installing an Edelbrock E-Force supercharger, do not forget to get an E-Force Remote Oil Filter Mount for your 5.4L 4WD F-150. The oil filter accessory kit enables you to relocate the filter to clear the front differential on your truck, which is great for towing or off-roading enthusiasts.
Part of the Supercharger Install. When you want an E-Force supercharger upgrade, you need to relocate the oil filter as part of the install and, in turn, you will get the best-looking engine compartment you’ve ever seen. Once the supercharger is in place, the performance will blow you away as you feel gains in horsepower and torque.
Kit for Proper Install. Get the parts and hardware you require for moving the oil filter in the one kit, from the oil filter adapter spacer to the oil inlet hose (90° to 45°) and outlet hose (90° to straight), to the mounting hardware. Follow the Edelbrock installation instructions for a safe install. Put in the remote oil filter mount before Step #88 of the supercharger install, otherwise some areas will be difficult to reach. Install with parts #1581 and #1583 E on your 4WD F-150 truck. For 2009 and 2010 trucks, the spacer between the frame and filter adapter is necessary to attach.
Application. The Edelbrock E-Force Remote Oil Filter Mount is specifically designed to be used on the 2004-2010 5.4L four wheel drive (4WD) F-150s equipped with an Edelbrock E-Force supercharger.
