The Eventuri BMW E60 M5 / E63 M6 Black Carbon Inlet Plenum is an engineered upgrade designed to address airflow inefficiencies in BMW’s naturally aspirated S85 5.0L V10 engine. Developed specifically for the E6X M5 and M6 platform, this carbon plenum system replaces the factory plastic units with an optimized internal geometry approach that promotes smoother, more uniform airflow distribution to each intake runner.
Extensive testing was conducted to refine the internal volume and shape of the plenum chambers, ensuring balanced air delivery across both cylinder banks of the V10. The factory plenum design features internal flow disruption and uneven air distribution between cylinders, which limits performance at higher engine speeds.
