The Eventuri Black Carbon Intake Scoop Set is a purpose-built airflow management solution for the BMW G87 M2 platform that addresses intake air temperature through strategic ambient air channeling. Mounted on the outer edges behind the front grilles, these carbon scoops capture airflow at the nose of the vehicle and direct it into the factory intake ducting system during motion. This engineered approach to airflow direction helps feed cooler ambient air into the intake system while reducing reliance on heat-soaked engine bay air during performance driving.
The scoops are manufactured from 100% prepreg carbon fiber construction, providing the strength-to-weight ratio necessary for sustained operation in high-temperature engine bay environments. Development of the G87 M2 scoops incorporated real-world fitment validation through scanning of an actual G87 M2 platform during Bilal’s visit to IND. Multiple grille variations were evaluated during the development process to ensure consistent compatibility across common grille designs, with prototypes validated through iterative testing before final production. This development approach resulted in OEM-level integration that maintains a clean appearance behind the factory grilles while delivering functional airflow guidance.
The angular geometry is shaped specifically to capture airflow efficiently while integrating naturally with the G87 M2’s front fascia design language.
