Description

Performance Muffler Upgrade. The Flowmaster 50 Series HD Center/Dual Out Oval Muffler; 3-Inch Inlet/2.50-Inch Outlet is designed to enhance the exhaust system of heavy-duty trucks, including both gas and diesel engines, by offering improved horsepower, torque, throttle response, and engine efficiency. It produces a deeper, moderate sound with minimal interior resonance, suitable for trucks with modified or large-displacement engines.

Construction and Appearance. This muffler is constructed from 16-gauge aluminized steel and fully MIG welded for maximum durability. It is coated with a high-temperature black paint finish that resists corrosion and maintains an attractive appearance under heavy-duty conditions.

Installation. Installation is straightforward with slip-fit inlet and outlet connections compatible with clamp-on or weld-on attachment methods. Moderate fitting skill is required, with no drilling necessary; however, new hangers are needed and are not included with the muffler.

Fitment and Application. This muffler fits universal applications with some adaptation required. It is primarily intended for heavy-duty gas and diesel trucks and SUVs that benefit from a performance-grade exhaust upgrade.
