Black Anodized Fittings. The fittings are black anodized for added durability. The heat shield includes soft bumpers that prevent metal on metal contact under the hood. This intake system includes reinforced silicone couplers and stainless steel hardware. Heat dissipates effectively with the polyethylene tubing. The intake tube is custom-molded and cross linked.
Black Powder Coating. This intake has a washable air filter element. It is a high-flow 8 layer conical shaped filter. The filter is engineered for lifetime serviceability. The steel heat shield has a durable black powder coating.
Straight Forward Installation. This intake does not require any cutting or drilling to complete the installation process. It includes durable brackets to facilitate a secure installation. You can download the PDF installation guide on the Flowmaster website.
Application. The Flowmaster Delta Force Cold Air Intake was designed to fit all 2007-2008 Chevy Silverado 1500 6.0L models. Flowmaster manufactures this intake in the USA. It is not available for legal operation in California.
