Forged and Lapped. G2 manufactures the ring and pinion in this kit from forged 8620 steel that is formed to the exact OE specifications for 4.88 gears and 30 spline pinion to ensure a perfect fit. The ring gear features 39 teeth and the pinion has 8. The heat treatment makes the parts very strong and the surfaces are lapped for smooth, frictionless fit.
Experienced Installation. Installation of this kit should be a straightforward process, however, working with the differential is best left to someone with experience. These parts should work with your existing hardware, but will still require a break-in period.
