Each one is engineered to improve the electrical flow to the spark plugs, with 0 Ohms of resistance and absolutely no radio interference. One of the critical components of the coils are steel and silicone cores that are shorter than in the OEM setup, making it so the electrical current doesn’t have to travel nearly as far to reach the spark plugs.

Application Note. To determine what version of the 4.6L is in your truck, you would need to refer to your VIN Number. If the 8th digit in the VIN # is “W” it is the 4.6L 2V. If the 8th digit is in the VIN # is “8” it is the 4.6L 3V.
