This front bumper’s pre-runner design and strong build quality is more than capable of deflecting rocks, heavy vegetation, and other common hazards you might encounter when off-roading. Likewise, its angular, low-profile design matches your ’11 to ’16 Ford Super Duty truck’s muscular lines perfectly. This front bumper also features fully-welded 0.75-inch thick D-ring mounts that extend into your truck’s frame as part of the bumper’s mounting system. This design is significantly stronger than surface-welded shackle mounts.
Allows Auxiliary Lighting Installation. The Hammerhead Low Profile Pre-Runner Front Bumper provides you with an auxiliary light-mounting solution via precision-cut light-mounting ports. These ports allow installation of four 3-inch LED light cubes – two on either side of the bumper – and one 20-inch LED light bar at its center. This useful feature eliminates the need for installing extra light mounting brackets thus keeping your front-end’s lines clean.
Strong Build Quality. The Hammerhead Low Profile Pre-Runner Front Bumper is fabricated from 0.187-inch thick plate steel with internal gusseting for maximum rigidity without any added weight. Likewise, its pre-runner brush guard is made with 1.75-inch wide steel tubing that’s 0.120-inch thick. This bumper is precision-formed for an exact fit when installed. Finally, this bumper assembly is given a specialized 2-step black powder-coat finish for superior corrosion protection.
