Tuning is Not Required. There’s no need to worry about an expensive custom computer tune to use this kit, because it’s not necessary. There is a chance that a good tune would help improve your truck’s performance more significantly, but even without the tune this kit will help. It can be installed with the included hardware and will just function.
Microscopic Filtering. Take your filtering to the next level with the built in system in this intake. It comes with many different layers of cotton fibers with microscopic pores. The cotton is coated with a tacky oil material to increase its ability to capture particles, making it into a highly effective filtering system. With it installed on your truck the engine will remain cleaner. The filter is fully washable as well and with a quick rinse and oil application it can be reused.

The intake pipe and the heat shield housing are both crafted from polyethylene plastic that’s black and thick enough to withstand everyday pressure.
