It is made for use with both gas and diesel applications and was designed for maximized efficiency and high-performance in your truck.
Made to Last. This 45-inch long catalytic converter is made to provide long-lasting performance value for your Chevrolet. The 12”x5.25” converter body is made from heavy-duty stainless steel. The catalyst core or substrate of the converter is made from durable ceramic material. The stainless steel pipe connection has a 2.5-inch inlet diameter and 2.5-inch outlet diameter. The high-caliber design and manufacturing of this catalytic converter were designed to meet Federal emission compliance. However, it is not legal for street use in California.
Basic Installation. This converter was designed to facilitate a straightforward direct-fit configuration in your truck by a professional installer or someone who has moderate mechanical expertise. The exhaust components use the factory hangers for mounting. The exhaust inlet has a bolt-on connection and the outlet has a clamp-on installation.
