Construction and Appearance. This shock absorber features a twin tube design with a durable steel body finished in black paint for corrosion resistance and a sleek look. It includes mounting sleeves to accommodate standard 12mm bolts, ensuring a secure installation.
Installation. Installing this rear shock requires basic mechanical skills and uses existing hardware without the need for drilling. Proper orientation is essential, with the shock body positioned at the bottom and the shaft at the top.
Application. Specifically designed to fit 2015 through 2020 model year 2WD F-150 trucks with a 5 to 6 inch rear drop. Use with wheels wider than 9 inches or with less than 4.5 inches of backspacing is not recommended and will void the warranty.
