It features a simple straight-through muffler and mandrel-bent tubes with minimal curves, delivering up to 34.40% increase in airflow. In turn, this creates a fuller, louder-than-stock growl without loud cabin droning and other annoying noises. In addition to the improved exhaust sound, this cat-back system is also designed to boost your truck’s performance.
Delivers More Torque and Horsepower. With this exhaust system’s enhanced and increased airflow, your truck will experience significantly reduced backpressure and turbulence. These, in turn, result in more torque and readily available horsepower. The high-flow muffler and mandrel-bent tubing also contribute to the improved fuel economy and reduced harmful emissions.
Crafted From High-Grade Aluminized Steel. MBRP chose 16-gauge aluminized steel in constructing this exhaust system. Aluminized steel is lightweight, corrosion-resistant, strong, and durable, and at the same time more affordable. The tubes are then mandrel-bent to create smooth, uniform curves that allow unrestricted airflow. This reduces turbulence, which then results in performance gains.
Smooth and Shiny Polished Finish. This cat-back exhaust system comes in a sleek polished surface finish. This serves 2 purposes. One is for aesthetics, providing a smooth and shiny appearance. The other is for durability and enhanced corrosion resistance. This is because the polishing process eliminates contaminants like particles and chemicals that can speed-up wear and tear.
Direct-Fit Installation. All you need to DIY the installation of this dual exhaust system is a jack, a set of jack stands, and basic hand tools, depending on your vehicle’s cab and bed configuration, some cutting will be required. The estimated installation time for the entire kit is more or less a couple of hours.
