Advanced Install. Mounting the Mishimoto Ram 2500 Performance Intercooler Kit is a straightforward process that can be completed in a few hours. The only tools that you’ll need are a ratchet, socket set, and wrenches. The first step is to remove the factory intercooler from the vehicle. This can be done by removing the four bolts that hold it in place. Once the factory intercooler is removed, the new Mishimoto unit can be installed in its place. The piping can be easily routed around the engine bay, and all of the necessary clamps and connectors are provided.
High-Quality Silicone Boots. The Mishimoto OEM replacement kit has silicone boots from Mishimoto with DuraCore technology and T-bolt clamps for precise and consistent holding force. All Mishimoto silicone diesel boots have a synthetic layer made of Mishimoto DuraCore technology in the innermost layer. DuraCore is a type of silicone that is more heat-resistant, pressure-resistant, fuel-resistant, and oil-resistant than normal silicone. This increases the life of our boots by preventing leaks and blowouts.
