It is suggested to thoroughly clean and dry the lettering channels on your front grille before wiping down with a clean rag moistened with alcohol. This is to maximize the bonding of the adhesive. Moreover, the tape’s adhesive works best in temperatures of about 50 degrees Fahrenheit. If installing the letters during cold weather you will need to warm-up the mounting surfaces also to ensure proper adhesion. This can be accomplished using a hairdryer or a heat gun.
