On-Road And Off-Road Protection. If your vehicle has a diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) or UREA tank system, the Sierra 2500 DEF/UREA Tank Skid Plate will prolong its lifespan. Instead of having to replace your DEF and UREA tank, which can be very expensive, consider replacing your stock unit with the SkyJacker skid plate. It prevents damage to a vehicle’s underside, increases resistance against off-road debris, and gives you additional ground clearance.
Tough Solid Steel Construction. Manufactured from 3/16-Inch solid steel plating, this skid plate is zinc-coated and covered with a black powder coat finish. It features reinforced, gusseted corners for added safety. Not only does this skid plate offer protection, but it also gives the underside of your vehicle a custom look.
Direct Bolt-On Installation. This skid plate requires a direct bolt-on installation. However, some cutting and drilling are necessary. The mounting hardware and installation instructions come with the skid plate. It’s also made to directly replace your stock skid plate, utilizing factory hole attachments.
Limited Lifetime Warranty. SkyJacker gives you a limited lifetime warranty for the Sierra 2500 DEF/UREA Tank Skid Plate. It only applies to the original buyer, and it covers defects in materials. If the product is subject to misuse, negligence, or improper installation, it is not covered by the warranty.
Application. The Sierra 2500 DEF/UREA Tank Skid Plate fits 2011-2016 GMC Sierra 2500 vehicles. For possible exclusions, check with SkyJacker’s customer service team.
Installation Difficulty. To install this skid plate assembly, you will need safety glasses, metric and standard wrenches, sockets, assorted drill bits, and a tape measure. Since some cutting and drilling are required, you need to have at least moderate mechanical skills.
