By venting gasses through the holes, SP Performance Cross Drilled Rotors prevent fades and bring your car to rest. There is no harsh edge on the SP Performance chamfer, unlike the competition.
Efficient Operation. An outer radius curve, rather than a countersink, is used to achieve this. The radius curve, also known as the Sinusoid Curve, essentially eliminates an edge on the hole’s surface. This smooth surface also reduces pad wear caused by friction brushing against a sharp edge, making the rotor more pad friendly. Where the brake pads contact the rotor, the rotor coating will wear away over time.
Installation. No additional modifications are needed upon installation. It can serve as a replacement part for your vehicle.
