The SP Performance chamfer has no sharp edges, unlike its competitors.
Reliable Performance. An outer radius curve, rather than a countersink, is used to achieve this. A surface edge is successfully eliminated by the radius curve, commonly known as the Sinusoid Curve. This smooth surface also reduces pad wear caused by contact with a sharp edge, making the rotor pad-friendly. Over time, the rotor coating will wear away where the brake pads contact it.
