This steel lid is thinner than the factory plastic lid on your truck, but is more durable and sturdier. You can even place heavy items on top of this lid without worrying about damage.
High-Quality Construction. This heavy-duty In-Floor Storage Security Lid is constructed from 16-gauge and 1/8-inch thick welded steel. It also includes a 10-tumbler, a double-bitted security lock, and built-in weather seals. Meanwhile, the mounting plate is made from 11-gauge mount plate and includes an integral lock bracket. Hence, you are getting not just a lid, but a security feature that provides protection against theft and weather. The seals ensure that your items inside the storage will not get damaged by moisture or dust. The durable, powder-coat finish offers a scratch-resistant finish that will look good even without the covers of a floor liner.
Easy Installation. Getting this Security Lid installed is really easy and will take only a few minutes of your time. The lid comes with a mounting plate that’s pre-drilled and includes 4 screws for installation. You just screw the plate to your truck’s rear floor and you’re done. No drilling or any modifications required.
