Proper Tire Pressure Monitoring. Having accurate tire pressure will not only keep you safe on the road, it helps keep your tires lasting long. The set of 4 Valve Stem-Mounted TPMS Sensors will notify you when your tire pressure is low so you don’t have to get into an auto accident as a result of having flat tires. This is a great safety feature to add to your F-150 when you upgrade the rims or need to replace malfunctioning sensors.
Kit Contents. This TPMS Kit comes complete for use on four wheels and includes 4 Stem-Mounted TPMS Sensors. This kit makes it easy to switch between your stock rims and aftermarket rims at will.
Required Upgrade. In order to sync the new sensors to your truck’s computer after you have installed them in your wheels you will require the use of a TPMS Transmitter Tool (sold separately).
Application. This set of four Ford F-150 Replacement Valve Stem-Mounted TPMS Sensors is specifically designed for use on all 2009 to 2014 F-150 models.
Important Tire Rotation Note. When rotating tires that are equipped with TPMS sensors it is important to reuse the TPMS Transmitter Tool to recalibrate the sensors. By rotating your tires you are changing the physical location of the sensors and your trucks computer will need to update to be aware of this location change. Failure to do so will result in inaccurate and incorrect low tire pressure monitoring.
