Retune Not Required. This Volant Cold Air Intake works with your RAM’s factory tune. As such, you don’t have to reprogram your truck’s ECU after installation. However, AmericanTrucks still recommends a retune in the future to fully maximize the gains from this upgrade.
Low Maintenance Air Filter. This kit features a synthetic PowerCore Dry filter that’s highly efficient in removing impurities. This filter does not need cleaning or oiling.
Bigger Is Better. This kit features a larger air box and larger opening, ensuring more cool air enters the intake. The heat-resistant airbox features an aluminum lid and polyethylene tubing.
