You will experience an increase of up to 85% more horsepower, and up to 75% more torque throughout entire RPM range when installed with the included Whipple calibration. This Whipple Supercharger gives you a near instantaneous power boost for incredible acceleration and top end power.
Complete Kit. This Whipple Supercharger Kit comes complete and includes the W140AX 2.3L twin-screw supercharger unit, aluminum high-flow intake manifold, oversized air-to-water intercooler, high-flow fuel injectors, air filter, pulley, hoses, and wiring harnesses. A SCT Flash Programmer with Whipple calibration is also included for easier tuning.
Whipple Technology. The most efficient twin-screw supercharger on the market, the Whipple W140ax 2.3L supercharger significantly outflows the competitions 1.9L roots-type superchargers. Whipples top mount design allows for cooler operation when compared to upside down superchargers which tend to trap engine heat causing hotter manifold temperatures and a loss of power. Whipples discharge down design allows for less pressure loss which gives more power at lower boost levels. Using an exclusive 3×5 rotor combo for a significant increase in airflow under the curve, this Whipple Supercharger is much more efficient than other companies 4×6 rotor combo. Whipple Superchargers feature a massive oversized intercooled air-bypass system for an industry leading reduction of burst knock and incredible fuel economy.
Application. This Whipple W140AX 2.3L Intercooled Supercharger Kit; Black is designed to fit 2007-2013 GMC Sierra 2500 HD models equipped with the 6.0L V8 engine.
