OEM Upgrade. The Yukon Gear 34 Spline Rear 6-Lug Axle is the ideal choice when you need to upgrade the axle on your 2010-2011 Ford F-150 Raptor. When tweak your engine to deliver more horsepower, or when you need a tough axle for rock crawling, you need greater strength and more splines than a factory axle can provide. Another reason to upgrade is if your OEM axle becomes excessively worn and starts to click when you turn the steering wheel.

The non-wheel facing end of your axle is covered by a series of ridges and valleys; splines are the ridges. The more splines, the more strength. Yukon axles are heat treated for additional strength and tested extensively.
