Custom Tune Not Needed. Edelbrock designed this intake manifold to immediately provide a boost in performance. As such, a custom tune to your F-150’s ECU is not needed.
Cast Aluminum Construction. This intake manifold is ideal for nitrous, supercharged, and turbo applications since it’s manufactured from cast aluminum. It comes with a black powder-coated finish to protect against corrosion.
Professional Installation Recommended. This intake manifold reuses the stock fuel rail, making the installation easier. But for a proper installation, it’s best to let a professional install it for you.
Recommended Upgrades. Edelbrock has a few recommendations for the best performance of this intake manifold. They recommend OEM factory gaskets, stock 80mm or Ford M-9926-M5090 90mm Mustang throttle body. They also allow either 2011-14 style or 2015-16 style intake gasket seals.

Technical Note. An RTV sealant must be utilized to properly seal end seals. Please don’t use end seal gaskets. Finally, hardened washers are to be used with intake bolts for proper torque.
