Improves Performance. Control the flow of exhaust gas to the turbine side of the turbocharger much better by installing a pair of 5 SPI IWG75 Internal Wastegates Actuators from Turbosmart. When compared to the stock actuators, these Wastegate Actuators result in a flatter boost curve that comes on faster with more stable boost and less drop off at the end of the rev range. Which results in a more performance oriented F-150 with smoother power delivery and less turbo lag.
Customizable Boost Levels. Turbosmart’s Internal Wastegate Actuators can cope with the high stresses and temperatures of high boost applications for prolonged periods of time. The Wastegates already include a pre-installed 5 PSI spring, but if you want to increase the boost level of your EcoBoost in future, it is highly customizable with interchangeable springs for a range of boost levels. Wastegate Actuator Springs are sold separately.
Locking Collar Cap Design. If you do decide to change the springs down the road, Turbosmart made it easy to quickly change the springs. You only need to pop off the locking collar on your Wastegate, remove your old spring and swap in your new spring.
Quality Construction. Constructed from high-grade billet aluminum alloy for durability and strength, these Turbosmart Wastegate Actuators feature stainless steel rods and connecting clevis to help prevent any possible rusting issues. The internal silicone diaphragm is reinforced with Nomex to help withstand high exhaust temperatures.
Direct Bolt-On Replacement. Best of all, these Turbosmart Wastegates are designed to be a direct bolt-on replacement of the factory parts. The Wastegates are easy to install and doesn’t require any type of special tools or modification.
Application. This pair of Turbosmart 5 PSI IWG75 Internal Wastegate is designed for use on all 2011 to 2012 EcoBoost F-150’s equipped with the turbocharged 3.5L 6-cylinder engine.
